given the chance to show their worth, estrada and noynoy decided to evade this forum. estrada is too smart to realize his shortcomings but for noynoy to chicken out is unexcusable. give the electorate a chance to observe how the candidates answer tough questions which surely will pop up in situations like these. hopefully nonoy’s backers will see the light and have him face the music. it doesn’t look good when a candidate that is leading (according to the surveys) will be perceived to be ambivalent since it will only bolster the perception that noynoy is nothing but a shadow of ninoy.

Noynoy was thrust into the lamplight due to MAR’s low ratings in the opinion polls. To save their party, the Liberals put a person clothed in the aura of his parents. In short, he is a green horn and I don’t like a President who will be on-the-job trainee for the duration of his term. He is not qualified to be a President. Two instances that we noticed of his absence: Absent on the day he is to speak to HACIENDA tenants. Mar Roxas did the talking for him. Another was this forum on foreign relations where there are only 3 attendees: Gordon, Teodoro and Villar. I feel that any of the 3 aspirants, just mentioned is qualified to be President in the present state of our nation. How could NoyNoy he be father to 90 million Filipinos when he can’t even raise a family of his own. TAKOT KASI…. or you may think, in many ways, why a man remains single even at 50…..Ohhh

people who choose the Aquino-Roxas tandem use not only their emotions but more of their brains. why choose somebody who talks and thinks and follows the same style of leadership of the present? for sure he would just be her clone. why choose someone who says he is going to alleviate the plight of the poor Filipinos when he is spending too much of his personal funds leaving no stones unturned to make sure he wins? How will he recover these spendings or how will he return the favor to “friends” who spend for him. I like Gordon next, he makes a really good president but our country should morally recover first.

during erap’s impeachment, majority of us were so swayed by the emotions we’ve seen reflected on the television that the people used people power again to oust erap, thereby placing GMA in the presidency. now, we are again swayed by our emotions based on what we see on TV…emotions really overshadow reason.
In my own humble opinion…I had enough of these people na magaling magsalita at matalinong magpalusot sa mga issues po.Kasi tingnan nyo ang sitwasyon po natin.Kung hihimaying mabuti ang kanilang mga sinasabi tungkol sa issues nila..parang novelty song na masarap sa tenga pero wala namang laman..At most of the time salungat pa sa sinabi nila..
Bilib po ako sana kay Gibo pero yung mga sinsabi nya sa informercial ng NDCC disaster preparednes..Naku po nilalag ni Ondoy..Yun din sa DND…Nilalag ng Maguindanao issue..So sad.=(

Hindi ko sasabihin dito because this is not the right forum to expose myself kahit hindi ako takot makilala ako. Totoo, tayo ang may hawak ng sarili nating desisyon, kung maging tamad ka o masipag, kung magtrabaho ka o hindi. NARANASAN mo na na bang kumayod ng isang araw sa pagtatrabaho katulad nang nsa mga mall o taniman at bigyan ka lang ng sahod na hindi nararapat ngunit wala kang magawa dahil walang gobyerno na nagbabantay sa iyong karapatan bilang manggagawa? Bakit walang pakialam ang gobyerno? Naranasan mo na bang nagbabayad ka ng wastong buwis, sobra pa nga sa dapat mong pagbayaran, ngunit sa panahong kailangan mo ang serbisyo ng hospital ng gobyerno, hindi ka makapasok dahil gabi, wla kang pera, at uutusan ka ng empleyado ng hospital na tumawag muna , o umuwi muna dahil iyon ang policy nila, walang downpayment, walang tanggap? May magagawa ang gobyerno, dahil sila ang magprotekta ng aking mga karapatan dahil ako’y isnag mabuting mamamayan. Bakit maraming nagnanakaw? Dahil nakikita nila na mas mabuti mga magnanakaw, nasa entablado pa, samantalang ang mga mangagawa na tunay na gumagawa, hindi man lang napapansin, dahil sa gobyerno natin na walang tunay na pagpapahalaga!
I repeat, kung kay GIBO mo lang ihambing ang tapang ko, kahit sampung GIBO, hindi ako uurong dahil kailan man, hindi kayang pantayan ni GIBO ang nagawa ko sa buhay ko. @christian: i saw the new mar roxas ad. not so flashy as gibo or villar. no sellout soundtrack but speaks much of mar’s character, especially his decision to give way to noynoy. not many politicians know how to sacrifice nowadays. god bless mar and noynoy.

we need a leader who has strong personality, smart, decisive, strong-willed and sincere.
