Featured Cause-Oriented Organization: Sa Aklat Sisikat

SAS works with public schools all over the country, providing the resources for implementing a Reading Program designed to motivate Grade 4 students – many of whom are at risk of dropping out of school before high school – to make reading a part of their daily lives.

SAS was founded in 2001 together with Petron Foundation. †It was cited by UNESCO as “a well thought out and well-funded reading awareness promotion.”
