We want your maps!

AboutPh just started a new section exclusively for maps, and we are inviting you to send us your maps for posting in this new section. We’re not talking about regular maps that you can find in magazine stands or travel guides. Those are way too ‘technical’ for our intentions. Let’s leave those to Google Maps.
The maps we want are your simple location maps and directional sketches. Maybe you’ll understand it better this way: †we want the directional sketches you prepared for your guests in your wedding reception, birthday party, etc.
Location maps to subdivisions, resorts, hotels and the likes are also welcome. So if you are developing a property or operating a resort or hotel you may send your location map to us and we’ll post it in AboutPH.
What is this about?
AboutPH is about sharing all sorts of useful information about the Philippines. It’s objective is to help people find what they are looking for in the Philippines, whether it’s information, people, places, etc. Your maps go reight into our alley.
Why not regular maps?
As noted earlier, regular maps are too technical for our intentions. Some people — like some of us in AboutPH– may not have the skill to read and understand regular maps. †Or we may simply find regular maps too cumbersome and overwhelming. When looking for very a specific place, your location maps and directional sketches may just be what people like us need. Besides, regular maps are readily available from magazine stands or in Google!
How to send us your maps
You can do it 2 ways:
(1) Scan or take a digital photo of your location map or directional sketch and e-mail it to us through bong.saculles@aboutph.com.
OR
(2) Put your location map or directional sketch inside an envelope and send it to us by traditional mail to:
