What it is:

  • The humble coconut tree gets its day in the spotlight as the town celebrates its Lubi-Lubi Festival.

Note:

  • The coconut being one of the primary sources of income in many rural areas in the Philippines, there is another Lubi-lubi Festival in Misamis Oriental and is celebrated in May.
