Most Philippine vernaculars adopt or base their names for their months of the year on the Spanish months of the year.  Bisaya/Cebuano is among these.

January: Enero
February: Pebrero
March: Marso
April: Abril
May: Mayo
June: Hunyo
July: Hulyo
August: Agosto
September: Septembre
October: Oktubre
November: Nobiembre
December: Desyembre
