“Pabandying-bandying”

Appears to have been derived from the English word “bandy(ing)” which has the following meanings:

  1. Passing or moving about carelessly.
  2. Discussing lightly.
  3. Tossing or striking a ball back and forth.

Pinoy slang for gallivant(ing).

“Mag pabandying-bandying” – To loiter aimlessly; To move around in a relaxed mood.

Equivalent of the Visayan expression “patid-patid sa lata” (literally, “kicking around a tin can”).
