Odong

Dried and slightly salted flour noodles similar in appearance to spaghetti and yellowish in color.   It is popular among the rural folks in Mindanao particularly in Davao.  Odong is often mixed with canned sardines.

Apparently derived from the Japanese noodle, “Udon.”
