USS George Washingto in Manila Bay

August 4, 2010 – USS George Washington dropped anchor in Manila Bay for a 4-day goodwill visit. Commanded by Capt. David Lausman, the nuclear-powered super carrier can carry 90 fixed-wing aircrafts and helicopters and is manned by some 5,000 crew, about 40% of them are Filipinos.
